SIMPOL Limited is pleased to announce that SIMPOL Professional v1.7 has now been released. The demo and the full installer have been updated, as have the online versions of the documentation. For those of you who already own SIMPOL Professional, the download is ready.
Here are some of the highlights of this release:
- SIMPOL Personal now ships as an EXE and is no longer dependent on external image files. It also includes shell support so that SIMPOL files with the extensions .sbm, .sxf, .sxq, and .sxp can be double-clicked in Explorer and this will automatically start SIMPOL Personal and open them.
- SIMPOL Personal now includes a Print Form Designer in addition to the Form Designer (for display forms), and has a new Table View mode.
- Thanks to a member of the SIMPOL community, the IDE now has its initial French translation.
- There are a couple of new libraries, and a new sample program of the Worms game, plus numerous changes and repairs.
For full details of the additions, changes, and bug fixes, see the Release Notes.
